Here are a few happenings from the past couple days. Jackson has been doing Book-It through school and he earned a free pizza coupon. I told him we could use this Sunday after church and he kept trying to convince me that we needed to use it earlier. Just this morning when we were getting ready, he told me he had a "very good idea" that he could get his free pizza today and I explained yet again that we would do it on Sunday. He gave me a very serious look and said, "That's not a good idea Mommy. We can't do that because my idea is better." This week at school, Jackson has been learning about nursery rhymes and he would get excited that I knew some of them. I brought home one of his crafts, not quite sure what it was and when Jackson saw it, he said, "That's my candlestick." And he showed me how he jumps over it. I got a pretty good picture. And one last thing with Jackson, yesterday after lunch he proceeded to take all the cushions and pillows off the couch, chairs, his bed, and our bed and piled them all together. Then he got some toys and magazines and added them on top and declared it a "kid party." But when the party was over and it was time to clean up it was "very hard work."
Ellie is still as sassy as ever. She has the funniest facial expressions and body gestures. She has started saying a few more words- a lot of mimicking what others say. She also loves to dance and will dance to random sounds. They both provide a lot of entertainment.
