A Funny Weekend

We had a quick, fun weekend which was good because Andrew just finished up a big trial in Kansas City this past week. He left Monday morning and didn't get back until late Thursday night. Saturday morning Jackson had another soccer game and then pictures afterwards. Wouldn't you know that we were the last team to get pictures and Jackson was one of the last ones to get his individual picture. Andrew got us lunch while we were waiting and then we headed straight to St. Louis. Our first stop was to see Heidi and Jeff and the twins. It was nice to just hang out for a little bit. Jackson and Ellie loved playing with all of Brooke and Tyler's toys and Brooke and Tyler are so cute-learning how to walk and fun personalities. Then we headed to Sara and Ryan's to see another cutie. Bella is growing so much and has the cutest smile. Lissy joined us and we ordered dinner in. Then Andrew and I got all dolled up and headed to the Fox to see the comedian, Jim Gaffigan. He did a great job and we were cracking up most of the time. Andrew said his cheeks hurt. As my dad said, it was a good comic relief after Andrew's crazy week. You should watch when it finally comes out on Comedy Central. Sara and Ryan were lucky enough to get to babysit our kids while we went to the show-THANK YOU!!!!! We headed home the next morning and Andrew was back to work. The rest of us tried to lay lowsince we have all been sick with colds. And unfortunately, I left my camera in St. Louis. I didn't have many pictures, but when I get it back I'll post them.
Today was a special day at Jackson's school because Dr. Early came to visit his class. They have been learning about safety and community helpers (Jackson learned to call 911 and now loves to answer the phone or be on it while I am trying to talk) so Papa got to come talk about what doctors do. Jackson was very excited. I borrowed my parents camera and stuck around for his talk. He had quite the conversations with some of the kids-they are so funny.
