Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today was all about the green. We all got dressed in our green. Jackson objected at first, saying he didn't like green, but then he warmed up to it. Ellie kept trying to find her belly, but she had a onsie on under her shirt, so she was getting frustrated. I let them open the gifts that the Bobziens gave them. After Jackson's inital disappointment, he and Ellie both like their gifts. So thanks you guys. We made shamrock cupcakes yesterday and today Jackson wanted to take some over to Addie. Then he was off to spend the day with Granny eating Doritos and playing with his trains-what the life. We had my parents, Molly, Caroline and Jared over for dinner. Sorry you had class Kaitlin. We had green pancakes, green eggs, green hashbrown casserole, and bacon (couldn't think of a way to turn it green). The color kind of turns you off at first, but it all still tasted good. Then we had the cupcakes for dessert. The second part of our "party" was watching the premiere of "Dancing With the Stars." It wasn't that easy considering the noise that Jackson and Ellie made. Again, they get so excited when people are over. Jackson spent some time in the wrestle room with Jared. He kept telling Jared how strong he was during dinner. After a while they both came down a little worn out and Jared had to step outside for a little bit because he got to hot. Molly accomplished getting Ellie into the tutu Briley gave her for Christmas. Every other time I have tried to put her on it, she gets upset. She wore it for a little while this evening and we all commented on how pretty it was, so maybe she will want to wear it more. Overall it was a fun evening. The kids ended the night by talking to Granny B. Jackson was so sweet to her and Ellie carried on quite the conversation with her too. It was cute. Tomorrow should be a fun day because Amanda, Sara, and Carson come into to town for the week.
