This weekend we headed to Overland Park to meet Baylor. Molly stayed over at our house Friday night and we planned on heading out early Saturday morning. But Ellie had other plans. Yes, she got sick again. I really thought it was over but she woke up around 5:30 and had thrown up. But it was different this time because she kept having little episodes of it. I felt so sorry for her. Andrew took care of her for awhile while I got ready and then he had to head out to the ranch. We were supposed to leave at 7 but Ellie still wasn't feeling well. She actually fell asleep on the toilet. She has never had a fever through all of this so now my dad is thinking maybe she has acid reflux. We did have Happy Mexican on Friday night and she had some salsa. So the general consensus was that she was not infectious and if she felt better we could still go visit everyone. I had made some food for Andy and Autumn and some cookies that were all ready to go, so I wanted to make sure they got all of it. So after a little nap on our bathroom floor, we finished getting everyone ready and packing up the car and headed off to KC. We didn't do much while we were there. Just sitting around with everyone and admiring sweet, little Baylor. He was such a good baby while we were there. I can hardly remember him crying and if he did, it was just a tiny bit. Lissy got some great pictures so you'll have to go to her blog to check them out. I just got one picture of him where he is looking at me like, "Please no more pictures."

And Grandma tried to calm the boys down by reading them a book.
Saturday night Molly stayed with the kids and I at a hotel, so some of the rest of them came over so the kids could go swimming. I think it really helped wear them out even more before trying to get them to sleep that night. We had a fold-out couch for the kids, but they both ended up on the floor in their sleeping bags just an hour into sleeping. But overall everyone slept well which was good because it had been a very long day as I had gotten to sleep around 1/1:30 the night before and then Ellie getting sick just a few hours later. The next day I got a little shopping done and we headed home after lunch. But first I got a picture of the happy Early family.
All three kids slept most of the way home which is amazing. Ellie did wake up at one point a request a piece of licorice which she quickly ate and fell back asleep. So we got back home and unpacked. Andrew had a surprise waiting for Jackson when we got home. He made a letter from a turkey to Jackson that even had a big, ugly picture of a turkey from one of his hunting magazines on it. It talked about how they would never be able to shoot him because jackson was too loud while he ate his Doritos. Ellie thought it was pretty funny and she wants to shoot the turkey. Oh no, not my princess. Andrew is pretty proud though.
Of course Ellie and Briley had to have a little dance party.
And Lincoln was crawling around trying to get into everything. Including this box of some of Andy's memorabilia that they used for Baylor's pictures. Here is Lincoln in Andy's Goofy hat.
