Happy St. Patrick's Day

Well we had a fun St. Patrick's Day around the Farwell house. Actually the day before I put up our banner and decorated Lincoln. The next day I took an idea from Tiffany and had the leprechauns visit our house during the night. I got Jackson and Ellie up a little early today so they could see what the ornery leprechauns did. They flipped chairs and baskets over, took cushions off of the chairs and couches, turned the milk green and left some green-wrapped peanut butter cups and green bubble gum machines behind for the kids. Jackson and Ellie thought it was great (Lincoln was still asleep) and I think it will be something we try to do each year. Ellie actually came downstairs last night around 2:30 to let me know that I forgot to check on her but I guess she didn't notice anything.
Then we all got dressed in our green.

Ellie helped me a little with some sugar cookies. This picture is for my siblings who have a certain affinity for these. After we picked up Jackson from school we spent a little time outside playing and then I had to work on stuff for dinner. My parents and Molly had a cheerleading banquet and Lissy was coming into town so I invited her and Caroline and Jared over. We had our usual green pancakes and sides and I also made some apple dumpling that have Mountain Dew in them so they could kind of be considered green.

After dinner we got to check out Lissy's new car and then Jackson decided it was time for games. He convinced a few people to play Twister and then he brought out Sorry.
At some point in the middle he decided he needed to break out some dance moves and then it was back to the game.
After Lincoln had his dinner he wanted to be part of the game too.
