Another Cousin & Office Update

Yes that is right, we are going to get another cousin/niece/nephew. Matthew and Kristin had us out for dinner Friday along with their parents to announce they are expecting their second child October 1st. They had Ashlyn in a cute "big sister" shirt. We are very excited for them.

It was a good thing we went to Columbia on Thursday because Ellie had a pretty tough Friday in which her first event of the morning consisted of her yelling for me at 6:30 am and I found her at the top of the stairs with the icky stuff running down her legs (through her fleece pj bottoms) and making puddles on the carpet. Oh man it took me a long time to clean this one up and it was pure nastiness. I eventually called some carpet cleaners to come finish cleaning the carpet and they didn't even get it all out. I went after it again today and I think it is mostly gone. So my day consisted of getting Ellie to the bathroom and constantly cleaning and doing laundry. She also threw up a little but it was a pretty mix of pastel colors-she had eaten some melty mints even though I told her not to because I knew they would upset her stomach. But after a 3 1/2 hour nap, she seemed much better and she has been better the past few days. Hopefully we are near the end of whatever is causing this.

Saturday we went to the office to take some pictures so Andrew can decide where he wants stuff and to pick out a countertop for the secretary's area. Of course it was overcast so the light isn't the best, but here are some pics.
Here is the lobby area looking into the secretary's area.
Next is the conference room-please excuse the mess.

And then Andrew's office.
And this is the work area which is off of the secretary's area and moves into the file room.
I think TH&N is going to start putting in all the outlets, etc soon and the contractors are painting and cutting all the trim so it is ready to go once the flooring gets installed.

The weather turned out pretty nice this afternoon so we got to get outside and play a little. Lincoln was really wanting to get down and crawl around but we were out in the street. We'll have to wait until the yard dries out. Then this evening we heading out to the ranch to have dinner with Andrew's family. Annie and Brad were in town to drop Lauren off for her to stay for a few days. Lincoln had fun playing with this toy. It played music and it's ears went up and down and would sometimes hit him in the face.

The kids had a fun time playing. They put together a big puzzle, rode around on a saddle and Ashlyn enjoyed chewing on a baby wipe.
