Still Waiting for the Warm Weather

I look back on the week and it seems it flew by, but I can't remember too much of what we did but I think everyone got a chance to be sick. Hopefully we are on the other end of it now. Friday was decent outside so I cleaned out and organized our basement and garage and put out our trash for Spring Cleanup. I also got to do some weeding in the flower beds. That night we had the pleasure of going out to eat with my Grandpa Mike and Karen to the Pear Tree. Yet again it was very delicious. We also got to see some of our extended family. Saturday we had Jackson's first soccer game. It was pretty chilly, but at least the sun was out. Jackson was excited and got to play goalie first. Once he realized he could use his hands he made some good stops. Then he headed out to the field and we soon realized that he wasn't really going after the ball, just running behind the opposing team and trying to trip them. I'm not sure who he learns this stuff from, but we quickly put an end to it. He still had a good time though. I didn't really get any good pictures especially since Jackson had his hood up and you could never really see his face. We headed to my parents in the afternoon and I helped out with stuffing invitations. My mom is just waiting on a few more stamps and then they will be all ready to go out. I think she will be very happy to see that day come. Then I had a pretty entertaining beginning to the day today- I heard Ellie talking so I went in to get her up and she sits up with her sunglasses on and says "Snot!" She has had a little bit of a runny nose and cough and always complains about her snot. The rest of the day was spent going to church and hanging out. Andrew had to go feed his cows because it SNOWED! I spent most of the day getting stuff ready for Kaitlin's shower this weekend. Now it is on to the next week which should be pretty full including someone's BIG 5th BIRTHDAY!
