The next big thing is that we are getting some things done with the yard. A bulldozer came the other day to move the big piles of dirt in the back and Jackson was very excited. He would watch it from the dining room windows and then run through the kitchen to see it as it moved into the back. He said, "Wow! I wish I had a tractor like that when I am a big boy like my Daddy." I actually think Andrew's is similar, just older. Yesterday they came with a Bobcat and did some more grading. Next up is the patio and then we'll get a yard. We have several different people working on all of it, but I think it should all come together pretty smoothly.
Yesterday when we got home, we opened up the garage door and there was a cardinal flying around. Even though I opened both doors, it took a while for it to get out. It just kept flying up towards the top and didn't even notice the doors were open. Jackson tried to close the doors, because he wanted to keep it as a pet. I wish the picture would have turned out a little better. It was a bright red male.
And then last, but not least, today was Jackson's last day of school. He doesn't seem to get it-that he has to stay at home with me for the next three months. He loved school and I think he will be expecting to see Miss Amanda and Miss Eagen again next year in his new classroom. Ellie will miss it too. As you can see, she loved to play too.
