Way to Go

I got a call around 5pm Friday from Andrew saying he was on his way home and he had won his big trial!!! I was so surprised to hear from him that early and sooo excited to hear he had won. He is 4 out of 5 now on jury trials which is awesome. So way to go Andrew-we are very proud of you. Thanks for all the prayers. We went out to El Vaquero that night to celebrate so Jackson was very excited. But then Andrew had to be gone again part of the day on Saturday to help his family move some cattle. We then had his family and Molly over for dinner that night. Jackson and Ellie always get very excited when people come to visit. Molly was supposed to stay the night, but she ended up staying with a friend and Jackson was so disappointed. He forgot about for a little while though while he spent most of the evening attacking Kristin who made the mistake of sitting on the floor. Ellie joined in a little too. We had dinner guests again on Sunday as my parents were in St. Louis and I thought I should feed the rest of them, so Kaitlin, Zane, Caroline, and Molly came over. So Jackson and Ellie had a good weekend-Andrew was home and we had people over both nights! Today we are back to the same old thing. But after getting them dressed, doing breakfast, and cleaning up, Jackson came downstairs to tell me he changed his pants. He put his sports pants on because he said they are slippery so he could slide and he proceeded to run and slide across the floor. Well I'm off to finish up the billing for Andrew's trial-approximately 300 hours worth!
