Happy Halloween

We started this week with both kids being off from school. I was still recovering from being sick while also trying to get stuff ready for my parents' Halloween party. We headed over to my parents in the afternoon because Amanda, Carson and the twins got into town. Papa entertained them by taking them on a little ride. Tuesday was spent trying to get caught up on stuff from being sick and I also got to help decorate for a fundraising banquet our church was having that we went to Wednesday night. We had so much going on during the week that sadly we didn't get to spend as much time with Amanda and her kids as I would have liked. Thursday was Ellie's Halloween party at school. They didn't get to dress up so they didn't have the parents help. I think they just played a couple games and decorated sugar cookies. Ellie did have a good time though. Thursday was also Caroline's birthday and some more family got into town. But Andrew left town and headed to Springfield to attend a seminar all day Friday. Lissy brought Sara, Bella and Brady with her and then Kaitlin and Zane showed up later in the evening. It was a pretty chaotic night but still fun to see all the cousins. This ornery little boy decided to send the rocket down the stairs a few times.Isn't she a sweetie? And then she decided to hang out with Kaitlin and Zane while they ate.Friday was a busy day for us. I took Ellie and Lincoln to Jackson's party at school and then we headed over to try to help Lissy with Luke and Ashlyn's photo shoot. But it is a little harder for me to help when my kids are there. Then after that we took Kaitlin over to Leah's to look through her maternity clothes. Next up was lunch, put Lincoln down for a nap, pick up Jackson from school and then take Lincoln for his 15 month appointment with my dad. That night was Molly's senior night. Here are my parents walking into their last football game with one of their kids participating.Excited to watch Molly.I didn't get any pictures of Molly. We left right after they announced her and my parents at half time because Ellie needed to go to the bathroom and Lincoln was not feeling well.

Saturday was a beautiful day and we headed out to the Truman football game to watch Jared play against them. He is number 47. Washburn beat up on Truman so good job Jared. Here are Amanda and Todd-they parked much further away than they needed to but were troopers about making the trek. The Bulldog even came over for a visit.Lincoln ended up falling asleep on my dad. They are best buds now and he would rather be with him than me. It all just happened in the last week.Saturday night was the Halloween party. My parents had to go to a wedding before the party, so they decorated earlier in the day and I forgot to get pictures. But here are some from the party. There always seemed to be kids at the dessert table.Lincoln wasn't feeling very well after his shots and Andrew took him home from the party a little early.Briley and Baylor were Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. Autumn and her mom made his outfit and it was so cute.Jackson and Addi beating up on the guy in the bounce house.Leah brought a black kettle full of spaghetti noodles and different treats. The kids had a great time digging through the slimy noodles. Carson actually decided the noodles were his dinner and would just eat them instead of the candy.Princess Ellie going after the pinata. We had a lot of kids at the party so it was so much fun. My mom is trying to keep them in line while we tied the pinata up again. And if finally broke open. Here is our second cutie Tinkerbell-Miss Bella. The next day we skipped church since Lincoln hadn't been feeling well. As the day went on though, he started feeling better. Everyone left my parents' house that morning/afternoon and then we came home and Andrew carved the pumpkins for the kids. And before we knew it, it was time to get dressed up again. He felt much better today.Jackson always has some great moves.Such a pretty princess (who is already eating some candy)He thought he would just go trick-or-treat by himself. And Andrew thought he would try to set up his game cam just in case someone stole the bowl of candy we left setting out. He couldn't figure out how to hide it though so no one would take the camera. The front pumpkin is the Browning logo-Andrew was very proud of himself for freehanding it.Now we are ready to go trick-or-treating.We just went over to my parents' neighborhood. Lincoln pretty much just sat in the wagon the whole time and would randomly throw things out. This lady loved to cackle really loud and I think she was actually proud that she made Lincoln cry. This was the only house he got out of the wagon for.Ready to call it a night.
