We had yet another busy week that included play dates, hair appointments for the boys, providing a meal for our pastor, his wife and their new little girl, dance, small group, parent/teacher conference, helping with a photo shoot, worship night at church, helping decorate for a birthday party, attending that fun birthday party, having friends over for dinner and getting to see Heidi and chat until midnight Saturday night along with Lincoln being a little sick. A couple of funny moments from the week included Ellie telling me a story about one of our neighbor girls. She was telling me that Sammy's sister was sick and had things on her back. She also said that they had to take her to the doctor and put her in a cage. What she got confused was that it was Sammy's sister's cat that was sick and they ended up having to put her down. Another thing was when Lincoln was emptying out the drawers in our bathroom (he does this about every day) and he got out the foam piece that you put in between your toes when you paint your nails and he kept trying to put it on my foot. I don't use it very often at all, but he definitely remembered what it was for.
Here are some pictures from the Vincent birthday party this weekend. All three of their kids have their birthdays within a month and a half of each other so they did one big party to celebrate Alex's first birthday and celebrated Zach's and Kate's too. It was a cute circus theme complete with a clown who did a magic show and made balloon animals.

Some friends even brought their little "roller coaster" ride for the kids to play on. Lincoln loved it.

We gave Alex the little wooden alligator that Lincoln loves so much (that he got from the Bobzien's because Carson loved his) and he took right to walking around with him.

Ellie's flamingo and fishing pole.

Lincoln decided to take off with one of Alex's presents.

They got clown noses in their gift boxes.

And here is Lincoln with his alligator. He loves to run circles around the house with it.

And I thought I would add some pictures of our Halloween decorations this year.

These are a couple of my Dollar Tree jars that I made. I just made three new ones with some taller vases I found there.

And the new Halloween banner I made for this year.

So now we are on to Halloween week. I started feeling bad yesterday with a little touch of the flu but am already starting to feel a little better. Hopefully I recover quickly because we have a lot going on this week including family coming into town. Amanda and her kids should be arriving any moment and everyone else comes into town this weekend. Should be a fun weekend.
And one last thing I have is a prayer request for Andrew's sister Annie and her husband Brad. Annie is around 22 weeks pregnant and they were told a couple of weeks ago that their baby wouldn't make it because they couldn't find it's kidneys and the amniotic fluid level was low. They, along with many others, are praying for a miracle for this baby. They had another appointment last week and amazingly the amniotic fluid had increased. They are just supposed to go in every week for an ultrasound, so please pray for them.
