Lincoln even got to enjoy the party.
We also had our usual activities during the week but I got a special night on Thursday and got to go out with a few friends for dinner. Later the night I woke up so the sound of water running upstairs and went up to find Ellie trying to clean up an accident she had. It was kind of a mess so I started cleaning and put her in the shower. But before she got in she said, "I want to make sure it doesn't wash off my hot pink nail polish." Oh the things she worries about.Friday was a fun day because I got to help Lissy with another newborn shoot. My mom was nice enough to watch Ellie and Lincoln which is good because it took close to 4 hours. Lissy used Andrew's office for the first time and I think it worked pretty well. Then later that day, Andrew, Jackson and Ellie headed out for a little camping adventure. Jackson was sure to bring his laser goggles.
After a stop for a large bag of snacks, Andrew would send me random images of what they were doing. Here I believe they are eating a dinner of Pringles by light of the laser goggles.

And time to get ready for bed. 
Andrew said the kids actually slept pretty well but he did not. He ended up taking a good nap on Saturday. Lincoln and I got to hang out together Friday night and I think he enjoyed it. We took a walk and played outside for a little while. We also played around on the floor and he let me take some cute pictures of him.
Andrew and the kids got back Saturday morning just in time to change and head to Jackson's soccer game. The weather was amazing and Jackson did a great job of running hard and getting after the ball.
These two are kind of ornery together but they have great fun and actually pretty good kids.

After the game, we met Lissy at Andrew's office to finish cleaning up from her photo shoot and then we had some lunch at La Fuente. That night we went to Jackson's Family Fun Night at his school. For some reason, Jackson wasn't too interested in all the games and really wanted to go to the book fair to get some book he really wanted. It was a good thing because Lincoln was really cranky and didn't last very long. So Jackson and Ellie played a few games, got some prizes, we bought some books and were out of there. It gave us enough time to play outside before it started getting dark. I found out later that night that I won one of the raffle prizes -$200 gift card to Wal-Mart. I was so excited-I never win things like that. Today we just hung around home. After church Andrew went to the office and then to play flag football again. He is pretty sore again and is running a hot bath right now. We had my parents and Lissy and Molly over for dinner tonight and are now getting ready to start school again tomorrow.
