Our families came over that night and we had some pizza, opened the presents and then had some fancy cupcakes. The opening presents part was pretty chaotic. All the kids wanted in on the action (even Brooke and Tyler showed up in time to help) or at least getting to play with the new toys. But then Ellie became possessive pretty quickly. It was crazy. Ellie's last gift was a bike and she was very excited.
Towards the end of the night the kids had a dance party (we're so sorry Brooke and Tyler weren't able to stick around for it). It looks like Lauren was doing the running man. So funny!
They all had some cool moves.
Saturday I got to go see "The Blind Side" with my mom and some sisters. It was a great movie. Andrew took the kids and Ellie got to enjoy riding her new bike outside because it was a beautiful day. 
Then on Sunday we ventured out to Fouch's Tree Farm to get our Christmas tree. I put Lincoln in a little snowsuit and packed him around in the baby carrier and he did really well. We trekked all over, but found a decent one. It was a little shorter than I wanted, but we still like it. Jackson was very excited this year and ran around everywhere saying he was going to find the tree for us. He found some good ones, but he still has a little to learn about bare spots. 
We took a break after we got the tree home and then decorated it a litte later in the day. Andrew even got in on the deal- he usually tries to avoid it. Jackson was so excited to see all the ornaments he had. He could read his name on all his ornaments this year, so he wanted to put them up. I only had to move a few :). Ellie tried to put a few up too, but didn't like the needles poking her hands. 
After dinner, I let the kids decorate their own trees for their rooms. I helped Ellie put her lights on, but the rest was totally up to them. I think the did a good job and they love having them in their rooms.
