Just had a few things from Jackson that I thought were worth mentioning. He had his flu shot yesterday at school and at first he was really concerned. He doesn't have good memories of his kindergarten vaccinations and wasn't really interested in another shot. Oh the wonders of bribes. I told him I had a new toy car for him if he did well with his shot and the teacher also offered him a special Halloween sucker. He was so proud of himself because he ended up taking the shot really well. He said it didn't hurt at all. Another proud moment for Jackson was scoring a goal last night at his soccer game. It was a "double thumbs up" moment for him and luckily his Grandma, Papa, and Aunt Caroline were there to see it. And one last thing, Jackson gets to start Little K tomorrow with K-Life. He really doesn't understand yet what it is, but he is still excited. We were talking about what they may do there and he said, "Like, do you think the play with boomerangs? I've never played with a boomerang before." I thought it was another great random Jackson moment. Andrew pointed out that he sometimes reminds him of the Chris Farley SNL skit where he would say something like, "Remember that time when we did. . . ? Yeah, that was great."
We got a surprise visit from my Grandpa Mike and Karen today. They were just down the road at the Holiday Inn Express and were getting ready to head out of town. They got to stop by and meet Lincoln and see our house. I was so glad they stopped by. Here is a pic of Lincoln with Karen-Ellie did a good job of getting him to smile.

And here is Grandpa Mike and Lincoln. Guess what he was trying to get Lincoln to say? Yep, he is already working on "bull****" Thankfully, he hasn't been successful in getting any of our kids to say it. He doesn't give up easily though.

And here are two last pictures of "Mister Charming" with his brother and sister.

We have a busy few days coming up. Lincoln has his 2month check-up and shots tomorrow. As I mentioned before, Jackson gets to go to his first Little-K and then we host our small group at our house. Friday is Homecoming and we are hoping to go to the parade and game, maybe the pep ralley. Then on Saturday we have a soccer game and a wedding to go to. Sunday looks calm though.
