Anniversary, Birthday & Weekend Fun

Andrew and I celebrated our 8th anniversary last Tuesday. We celebrated with a delicious dinner at Pear Tree! We can officially say that we have been together for half of our lives, since we dated for 8 years before we got married and we are both 32. Andrew read this blog every now and then, so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY (a little late). I love you! And a happy belated anniversary to Sara & Ryan-they celebrated their anniversary the day after us.

Some of my family was back for the holiday weekend. We all tried to go to Molly's football game Friday night, but they had a storm delay, so we all just met up at my parents. I did manage to get the kids changed into their Tiger clothes and almost to the car before my dad called and said not to come to the game.
We had hopes to hang out by the pool this weekend, but the weather didn't really cooperate. The kids did get to swim a little bit though. Ellie, Briley, and Bella had a lot of fun playing together. They are going to be quite a handful. Ellie did wonder where Carson was though-she knew someone was missing.
Lincoln was not lacking attention this weekend. There was always someone wanting to hold him. I did manage to lay him in his bed a few times so he wouldn't get too used to being held all the time. Lissy was a super aunt and stayed the night with him Sunday night. She has done this for us with all three kids now-THANKS LIS! Briley was very interested in Lincoln and is going to be a great big sister.
Jackson plays with the girls a little bit, but then decides he needs some big kid time. Andrew took him fishing Monday and this is what he caught

He played hard this weekend and wore himself out. He woke me up on Monday at 6:30 and said, "It's Labor Day Mom. Aren't you excited?"

My mom celebrated her birthday on Sunday. She got to share her cake with these two crazies. She let them both sit on her lap and eat chocolate cake. What a great grandma! They both loved it. Little Miss Briley finished off 1 1/2 pieces!
Here is one last picture of Ellie. I gave her some stick-on earrings this morning. She loved them. But no matter how many times I told her, she would put them everywhere but her ears. She went through all 24 pairs in just 1/2 hour.
