As far as soccer goes, I thought we may get at least one nice game this spring, but it was pretty chilly. Jackson did a good job though. He still gets easily distracted and will sometimes be running around and not have any idea where the ball is, but other times he really gets in there and has a good attitude about all of it. After the soccer game, we headed to some stores to get my Mother's Day present. Mother's Day kind of snuck up on Andrew, so I asked him to help me get and pot some flowers as my gift. So we headed to Home Depot and Wal-Mart and picked everything out. It was a little hectic because it was still kind of chilly out and the kids weren't contained. Also, Ellie had a drink of Sprite that she spilled all over her so most of her bottom half was soaked. We got everything home and I ended up having to clean the carseat and the car after the Sprite spill and Andrew headed back to Wal-Mart to get some top soil and grass seed to work on our patchy lawn. Andrew ended up mostly working on the lawn instead of helping me with the flowers, but he did fill up all my pots with soil so I didn't have to lift the heavy bags. I was happy though that he got some work done on the yard because it has been on the to-do-list for awhile. I got all the flowers potted while Ellie napped and Jackson played with a neighbor boy from across the street. His family was having a garage sale, so Jackson got to buy a couple toys and they were even selling lemonade to provide us with some refreshment while we worked. Andrew even skipped his last day to go turkey hunting, so he could work on my gift. For the actual Mother's Day, we headed to Independence to attend Annie and Brad's new church. Andrew's parents and Matthew, Kristin, and Ashlyn went also. Ellie and Lauren were very excited to see each other and they held hands as they went to the nursery together. Then we thought we would see if Jackson wanted to go to their children's church. The lady in charge was very nice and talked to Jackson about how their were some cool boys to play with but the thing that really got him was he got to pick something out of the surprise cabinet since he was new. So he stayed and was very excited to show us the pack of Hot Wheels he got whenever we picked him up. After church we all ate lunch together and then the kids got to play at a park for a little bit before we headed home. It was a short but nice trip and it was good to see Annie, Brad and Lauren. It is nice that they are a lot closer now. 
After we got home, we headed over to my parents for Molly's 17th birthday "party." She always requests fried chicken and ice cream cake for dinner- it was all delicious. 
While we were there, Jackson started playing a game on Molly's iTouch where you try to pop as many bubbles as you can. He had quite the technique and it had us all laughing. After doing it about four times, I finally pulled out the camera. Enjoy!
