A Visit to Granny B
This weekend we headed down to southern Missouri to see Andrew's grandma. The kids were very excited to see Granny B and I think the last time we saw her was in the summer. We made it down to Springfield Friday night and then we headed down to Cassville the next morning. We visited at the nursing home for a little bit and then we took Granny B out to eat at the lodge at Roaring River. Andrew loves going back here and has many great memories from his childhood in the area. After lunch we headed to the fish hatcheries they have at the State Park. It was only in the lower 50s and drizzling but there were still a lot of people out trout fishing. Andrew took the kids to feed the fish while Granny B and I visited in the car. The kids had a good time and it was nice for them to be able to run around a bit before we made the long car ride home. So now we are back in Kirksville getting ready for another week. Jackson starts soccer practice tomorrow with his first game on Saturday, so I hope it starts warming up a bit.
