We ended up having another full week this week. We start out our weeks by watching Dancing with the Stars on Monday night. Ellie decided she needed to get a little practice in with Lincoln.

And then Lincoln decided he wanted a gumball.

Andrew, Jackson and I all had dentists appointments this week and along with Ellie last week, we were 4 out of 4 for good checkup. I count my blessings now because I know this will most likely not always be the case. So far Ellie and Jackson both love going to the dentist. On Tuesday Jackson went from school to his dentist appointment and then to a hair appointment. He was kind of tired by the end of it. Then on Wednesday Ellie got to have a little playdate with her friend Kate. And on Thursday Jackson had his kindergarten orientation at the Primary school. He was very excited and he saw a couple of his friends there. He got to go back and tour the school and get some milk and cookies. We kind of had to rush around because we had to get home from small group but they have another event closer to the start of school where they get to meet their teacher.
On Friday, Andrew’s college roommate came into town along with his son who is Jackson’s age. We had not seen Miles since college so he was good to catch up with him. His son, Walker, and Jackson hit it off immediately and they remind me so much of each other. They ran around the house playing and showing each other their video games. We had some of my family and Andrew’s family over for a Fajita Friday that night. That night I was finishing cleaning up after everyone had left and Andrew and Miles went to pick up some snacks for turkey hunting the next day and to check out Andrew’ office. I turned on Madagascar 2 for the kids and when the music came on they all immediately stood up and started dancing. Jackson and Walker had some very similar moves.

The boys (minus Lincoln) headed out early the next morning but I got up and got a picture of them before they left. I love how Walker has the guns-again reminds me of Jackson.

They were actually back in town by 9:30am so we met them at Pancake City for a little breakfast. I then spent the rest of the day at my parents along with Ellie and Lincoln helping them with their prom dinner while the others hung out at the house mainly resting and catching up. My parents had a prom dinner for Molly and some of her friends. I think there were 24 kids all together. They ended up having a caterer do the food because they weren’t sure what was going to be going on with all the babies that are coming soon. But my mom made some really cute masks for the girls since the prom theme was “Midnight Masquerade”. Caroline also made the girls necklaces. Of course the boys and girls immediately separated.

They were all so pretty.

Then they all headed inside to get their dresses on and all the parents showed up for pictures. There were quite a few people there and Ellie loved being in the midst of all of it.

Isn’t Molly so pretty?

Her and Nathan made such a cute couple.

And her parents love their baby girl (I don’t think the rest of us got a picture like this :-))

And the whole group.

Then we all headed to the grand march. We left after an hour and it was still going on. A cute side note, Ellie was feeling a little left out since Jackson had a friend over and got to hang out with him all day. So Kaitlin painted her nails for her and on the way to the grand march, Ellie was telling me the name of the nail polish was Rock Star pink, so she must be a rock star.
The guys headed out to hunt again this morning and then Miles and Walker headed back to Arkansas after that. It was really nice to have them stay with us even if I didn’t get to see them that much. They were both southern gentlemen. Walker called Andrew and I, “Mr. Andrew” and “Miss Allison” and said “sir” and “ma’am”.
Ellie, Lincoln and I made the trip to St. Louis today to help Bella celebrate her 2nd Birthday. It was a “Colorful Birthday” since Bella loves to color. Bella also loves Cookie Monster and look at this awesome cake Sara made.

Ellie and Lincoln both made new friends with Bella’s cousins from the Sedlak side, Olivia and Collin. Ellie showed Olivia how to pose for the camera.

Bella was quite the party girl.

And Lincoln loved the blowers.

But everyone was getting tired from such a busy week/weekend and it was time to head home.

So now we are just waiting to get the call that someone is in labor. Amanda is actually going to be induced Tuesday night. We plan on going down to Dallas sometime and back to St. Louis so it should be a pretty busy few weeks. And to add to it, hopefully Andrew will be able to move into his new office sometime in the next few weeks too.
