Stuff We Do (With a Slight Interruption)

**I started this post on Sunday afternoon but soon started feeling sick and didn't get it finished. I think I came down with some sort of stomach flu. But we are very fortunate to live in the same town as our parents because my dad stopped by last night and gave me a shot to help with the nausea so I could sleep and my mom took Ellie and Lincoln today. THANK YOU!!! Also, Andrew has been great taking care of the kids (keeping the house clean is another story :)) and I think I am starting to feel a little better today and decided to try to finish this post.**

This week began with Ellie going to her first dentist appointment and she did great. She had been once with Jackson and saw he liked it. She pretty much smiled the whole time and her teeth looked good. This picture cracks me up because she looks like the little girl on "Finding Nemo". Then on Wednesday evening we were out back playing and Jackson wasn't feeling the best because we think he has allergies, but he heard a little whistle and immediately he perked up and started running towards the front. It was the train. A family in our neighborhood have a train they hook up to a lawn mower. They own a pharmacy so they use it as advertisement. Jackson was so excited. He, Ellie and Andrew hopped on for a little ride around the neighborhood. While they were out, Tiffany and her kids showed up so they hopped on for another trip.

And this little guy has been up to no good lately. He is actually doing a real crawl now and I am finding harder to get stuff done while he is on the loose. I finally used plastic cable ties to attach the lamp and phone cords to the end tables because he is always pulling on them and pulled one lamp off the table before I could get to him. He is now crawling up the stairs (but he doesn't realize that he can't turn around or he falls down), getting into the cabinets and crawling into the bathrooms and pulling up to the toilet. I brought out the gate I bought when we first moved into the house to put it at the bottom of the stairs. I had never opened it because by the time we moved in Ellie was doing fine with the stairs and didn't need it. So I got it out of the box and realized it was broken. I wonder if Wal-Mart will take it back two years later.
I had a garage sale with my family on Saturday. We decided to do it last minute because it was one of our last free weekends for a while and it ended up being one of our best ones. So while I was working at our garage sale, Andrew took Jackson and Ellie out to the ranch. They had fun riding around on the 4-wheeler with him and they were back about the time we were closing up shop. The weather was so nice this weekend and we tried to spend some time outside. Andrew had taken all the kids out to play after church and lunch on Sunday while I cleaned all the dishes by hand that had been in our dishwasher that doesn't seem to be working right now. But I looked out the window and saw this and just had to get a picture. > So I soon joined them outside to get a few pictures. Of course Jackson and Ellie wanted to do some special shots of themselves. And Andrew and I tried to get one together but the sun was so bright it was hard to open our eyes.
