Snow Days

Well Jackson had snow days Thursday and Friday and I still kept pushing through until I was done with all of my cleaning and reorganizing. I finished it all Friday night and was sooo excited. The storage area is my favorite. Each set of shelves has it own category and then everything is separated into labeled boxes. This is the stuff I get excited about.

To occupy some of Jackson and Ellie's time, I brought out the foam soap they got as stocking stuffers and they had fun with it in our tub for awhile.

And Lincoln slept while they had fun. He loves to cover his face while he sleeps. Like sometimes when we are at church and he is trying to fall asleep, I'll just put my hand over his eyes and he grabs onto it and holds it there while he goes to sleep.Later on that day while I was still in the middle of all my organizing downstairs, I got out Lincoln's jumper that he got for Christmas. As you can see from the smile, he loved it. The other kids thought he was "hilarious"(Jackson's description) and decided to join him in a dance party.
This little video was Andrew's idea-he thought Lincoln looked like he was doing an Irish jig.

Andrew took the kids out to the ranch on Saturday and they got some good sledding in. Andrew even built on ramp and tunnel for them to go through. Jackson bit it though and was not too happy about it.
Saturday night my mom invited us over for dinner to be her guinea pigs on some new dishes. We don't mind trying out the new stuff and it was delicious. Then Jackson and Andrew got some Wii time in. I think Andrew has become addicted (Jackson did a long time ago) because he even mentioned going over to my parents last night so he could get his Wii fix. The kids got bundled up again after church on Sunday and just played outside. I think they miss nicer weather because they played on the swingset (Jackson rode his sled down the slide) and Jackson even tried to play a little basketball and soccer.

And finally, Lincoln had his first feeding of baby food last night. He got some squash and at first was indifferent about it, but them he decided maybe it was not for him and started gagging a little. We tried again today and he was a little better about it, but we still have a way to go.
