First Doctor's Appointment

Things have been going pretty smoothly around here. Lincoln is a pretty good little boy. He's been a little fussy lately and is trying to figure out how much he wants to eat, but overall he is good baby and we all are in love, a little tired, but in love. We have had a lot of support over the last week and a half including some wonderful meals from the girls in my accountability group. We are very appreciative of all of it and feel so blessed.

Lincoln had a busy afternoon yesterday. He got to meet his Aunt Annie and Lauren and see Granny again. After they left, my Aunt Robin came by to meet him because she was in town working. Then after she headed back to work, we all headed to my dad's office for Lincoln's first doctor's appointment. He had quite a few admirers and then it was time to get down to business. He weighed 6lbs 3oz-almost back to his birth weight and in the 10th percentile. He was 20 3/4"-close enough to what he was in the hospital (it seems like everyone gets different measurements) and in the 90th percentile. His head was only in the 25th percentile so I guess he won't take after Ellie and her 90th percentile head. Everything else seemed good.

Other than the doctor's appointment, we don't have anything else planned for the week except trying to take it easy. I bought some stuff before Lincoln was born for the Jackson and Ellie to play with and hopefully be entertained for awhile. I just brought some stuff out today since they were starting to get bored. They were just the pens with multiple colors of ink and stencils and some old notepads from work-they thought it was all great.

And here is one last picture of Lincoln I took today-definitely not as good as Lissy's pictures. Jackson thought Lincoln was really cute (they both are always calling Lincoln a "cutie") in this outfit and thought it was cool because he looked like a Cardinals player.
