Let the Hunting Begin

This weekend saw the start of deer hunting. Andrew took Jackson on opening day-that's love especially since they both had colds. They got up around 4:30am and started putting on the layers. Once Jackson was dressed he said, "I'm looking good." They got everything together and they were off. They called around lunch time to check in and Jackson was ready to go for round 2. Andrew asked him if he wanted to stay at Granny and Papa's and play with the trains or go hunt and he opted for the hunting. Andrew was so proud even if it meant that his chances of getting a deer that day had just greatly diminished. They got home around 6 in the evening looking exhausted and with no deer but I think they really enjoyed their time together. But Andrew had already told Jackson that he would be staying home with me on Sunday. I guess he wants a little chance of getting a deer.

Here is a picture of Ellie and her friends. She got to hang out with the girls (Sara and Lissy were home for Hannah Hagan's shower) this weekend. Andrew never asked her if she wanted to go hunting.
