Friday night we went to The Flying W which is a "ranch" where you eat dinner and then they have a show with singing cowboys. We had a hospitality room before hand so we had a quick early birthday party for Ellie. A little side note on the birthday, we were loading up the cars to head out and we had some balloons for the party in the back of ours. Caroline lifted up the hatch door because she was the lucky one who had to sit back there since we had too many people and the balloons flew out. Andrew watched them for a while and then ran back saying he thought he would be able to get them. We all got in the car and drove down a couple streets to the golf course and there they were. The cold air made them sink a little. Just as Andrew went to get them, they flew off. He took off after them and then we didn't see him for awhile. We found a little ways down the street and the balloons were up in a tree. Andrew said he chased them for awhile and even tripped and did a somersault. All for his little girls balloons. Needless to say, he was not able to rescue the balloons.
We made it back home late Saturday night after stopping at Andrew's parents on the way home to see them and Granny B. Annie, Brad, and Lauren had been back for Thanksgiving but they had to head home on Saturday, so we missed them. Now we are just getting organized again and getting ready for Ellie's 1st Birthday tomorrow! It is so crazy to think it has already been a year.
