We had a fun, full week. The Bobziens came to town last Wednesday, so we have been hanging out with them. The rest of my family came into town on Friday. We had them all over for dinner and it was crazy. There was a lot of running around and wrestling going on. I think the kids all had a good time. We all hung out at my parents for Valentine's day and had a yummy turkey dinner with fun valentine desserts. My mom set up a scavenger hunt for the kids with pictures of different places around the house that eventually led to a bucket with little gifts for all of them. Jackson really got into it, so we'll have to set up some more scavenger hunts. Sunday I got to go with Amanda, Todd, Lissy, and Caroline to see "Confessions of a Shopaholic." I think Todd really enjoyed it because I think he fell asleep in the first 1/2 hour. And Lissy got a much needed break from her latest project. That project is Andrew's new office. That's right, we took a year break from construction and now we are getting ready to start up again. We have contract to purchase some land just north of where he is now. It is the perfect location that he has always wanted- on Baltimore between Wal-Mart and Hy-Vee. It wasn't for sale, but our realtor was able to find out who owned it and so it goes. We also ended up getting the lot adjacent to our construction lot which has a rental house on it. Yes, we are going to have a rental. I'm not too excited about it, but we'll see how it goes. So Andrew is in full gear and very anxious to get everything going with the office. Lissy is helping him with the design. Andrew actually came up with a floor plan on his own and she has been adding her expertise with that and the exterior. I think they have come up with something that will look very nice. Andrew's lease is up in December, so hopefully it will be done by then. It will be very appreciated as he has definitely grown out of his current office.
