First Day at the Beach

Today was our first day at the beach. Ellie and Jackson both had a great time. It was Ellie's first time and though she wasn't too crazy about the water at first, she loved the sand. She scooped it up with her hands and rolled around in it. She even ate quite a bit of sand. She also crawled everywhere, even to the surf, and loved when the waves would splash her. Jackson and Andrew played in the sand for awhile and made a little "pond" for Ellie to play in. Then Jackson, all in his own timing, decided it was time to get out in the water a little bit. He even let the waves hit him and he would fall down. He was very proud of himself and so were we. Lauren on the other hand wasn't scared of the water at all and loved playing in it. So overall it was a pretty good day and it got better as we ended it with a meal at Lamberts. Jackson was excited to see them throw the rolls. Ellie was just excited to see food.
