Kansas City was great. It was nice to see Andy, Autumn, and Briley. We went to Deanna Rose Farm which is like a big petting zoo with playgrounds. Jackson had a lot of fun playing on the playgrounds, riding the tractors, and feeding the goats. That night we went to Legends Shopping Center and tried to go to the T-Rex restaurant but Jackson was scared before we even got in there and wouldn't get down from Andrew's shoulders so we went to eat somewhere else where the food was better. Our trip home was okay except for the train was over two hours late.
When we finally got home we had time to freshen up and eat a little, then we had to head to Faith Lutheran for Jackson's open house. He got to meet his teacher and see his room. He was so excited about all of it and was not worried about leaving us at all. They actually ended up siging on more kids than they should and have been scrambling to rearrange rooms and teachers. Jackson's room is still waiting on new chairs and tables but they said it should all be ready to go by tomorrow. We will update the blog with first day of school stuff tomorrow.

This is a video of Ellie and Briley during our car ride where we all packed into Andy and Autumn's car. Autumn and Jackson were in the back, the girls and I were in the middle, and Andy and Andrew were up front. Both Briley and Ellie were talking but Briley quit when I brought the camera out.
