Lincoln has gotten some more alone time with me lately. He enjoys having the house to himself for a while and just wandering around playing with different things. He loves to empty out the drawers in our bathroom and carry around everyone's shoes. And this is his favorite spot when I am trying make lunch or cook a meal. Right between me and the cabinets. He just keeps wiggling his way until he makes it.
Andrew gathered his cows on Saturday morning. He called as I was trying to get some stuff ready for a baby shower asking if I could quickly order 9 orders of biscuits and gravy from Pancake City and bring them out so he could feed everyone who helped him. So off we went to the ranch for a little bit and the kids got to see Granny, Papa, Annie and Lauren. They played with the kitties and jumped on the trampoline. We got some good swim time in again on Saturday. We keep wondering if it is going to be the last weekend. Jackson decided it would be fun to put on all the floaties. He thought he was pretty funny.
Saturday night Andrew and I went to Pear Tree to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. It was delicious as always. It was nice to have a night out to ourselves and we are thankful that my parents could watch the kids for us.
Sunday after church, I came home and quickly ate my leftovers so Andrew wouldn't get to them first and then headed back to the church to help with a baby shower for our campus pastor's wife, Blair. Leah organized it and asked if I could help her with the decorations. So I made a pennant banner, some cupcake pics, food labels and cupcake picks along with some cookie sandwiches, cake pops and marshmallow pops. We just went with a "sweet" theme and I thought it turned out cute.

Now we are back to the school week again. Our activities are starting up. Jackson has soccer practice tonight and Little-K Thursday night. But this is how we have been spending our afternoon/evenings. Someone mentioned yesterday that it looked like the Shriner cars at a parade. We have to watch closely though because sometimes in turns into bumper cars. It has been fun though.
Doesn't she look like a homecoming queen riding in the parade.
