The kids have been pretty entertaining lately, but I can't remember most of it. I really need to write it all down before I forget. We were watching "Dancing With the Stars" last night and Jackson and Ellie would dance together each time one of the couples danced. I was trying to teach Jackson the difference between a slow dance and a fast dance-he is starting to learn. Then tonight, the kids were wrestling around with Andrew and Jackson said, "Are you ready for some action?" He is really starting to embrace his new superhero name, Action Jackson. I think this is much better than his previous one that has thankfully been retired for a while, Superhero Naked Boy.
Here are a couple pictures of Ellie. She loves getting on the bathroom counter with Andrew in the mornings. Once she is ready, she runs in there and says, "Down." This also means up in Ellie's world. We always correct her but she hasn't caught on yet. I ended up getting a toothbrush for her to keep in our bathroom because it is easier to brush them in there now. She loves toothbrushes all together and will confiscate anyone's that is laying around. She also loves her piggies. She doesn't like it when I put tights or footed pajamas on since she doesn't have access to them. The other morning I went in to get her up and she had her pajamas off. She smiled at me and said, "Piggies!" and wiggled her toes. Now we have to safety pin her pjs like we did for Jackson
This last picture is from Ellie's nap today. She wanted to take her babies, her bunny, and the big bunny into bed with her. She loved it.
Tomorrow we are headed to Columbia for some Christmas shopping. My dad is fortunate enough to come along with us. He is soooo excited. I think he may hang out at the Barnes & Noble coffeshop with a good book for awhile.
Just as I was finishing this up, Andrew asked Jackson, "Do you ever run out of energy?" Jackson replied, "No. I have power muscles. Hiya! I'm a real superhero." What a boy!
