So we just keep moving along. The boys are doing great. We weighed them at my dad's office a little while ago and Bennett was 7lbs 8oz and Miles was 7lbs 4oz. They are becoming more alert every day and are getting stronger. It looks like they are going to keep their blue eyes which means blue eyes will be the majority in our family-crazy. They have been out and about. They have been to church several times and also went with Andrew and I to a K-Life board meeting. And this past Friday we took them out to AJ's with us and the Vincents. Our other three went with my parents to a high school basketball game because Andy, Autumn and their kids were going to be there. The twins have handled it all pretty well. Bennett is starting to smile a little bit-here he is smiling at Ellie.
They aren't too crazy about tummy time and I think they are starting to wake each other up if they are too close to each other in bed and one starts crying. Sometimes they do still like to be close though.
Ellie spends a lot of her time trying to cuddle with the boys but I try to find other outlets so they can get a break :-). She really enjoyed making stuff with one of her Christmas gifts, presto dots. And she loves dressing up her dolls. One day she was really tired and ended up falling asleep on the couch with one of them.
We've had a few days of snow now and the kids have enjoyed getting to play in it a little bit. Lissy took Ellie and Lincoln out one day for a little bit.
And Andrew took the kids out to the ranch last Sunday morning to go ice skating on one of the ponds and then took Jackson and his friends, Zach and Sammy, out sledding this afternoon. I think they had a good time.
Jackson has started up his basketball season. He is on the same team as Zach and Sammy again. They have had two games so far and he seems to have a good time. At his first practice, he was learning how to box out and he told his coach that his mom was really good at it :-).

We enjoyed the last of our meals from friends last week. It was so helpful. My parents have had us over for several meals too. I brought out one of our first frozen meals for dinner tonight that I had made while I was still pregnant. And even with that, it was still a little difficult trying to get dinner on the table since the twins are needing to eat too and it takes some time. I tried propping them this evening (Andrew was putting hay out for his cows) and kept going back and forth between making sure they hadn't knocked their bottle out and getting dinner ready. Last week we got a great surprise and got a call from a cleaning company here in town letting us know that someone anonymously paid to have our house cleaned. It was wonderful and I wish I knew who it was because they deserve a big thank you!
This weekend Ellie and Lincoln went up to Kaitlin and Zane's with my parents. They left Saturday morning and got back this afternoon. Jackson decided not to go. He told my mom that sometimes he needs a break from his sister and brother. It seems that each of our kids do enjoy their alone time. Ellie and Lincoln had a great time though. I think it was Lincoln's first time doing something like this and it didn't bother him at all.
With the two of them gone, I had a little more time to get stuff done so I decided it was a great time to repaint our black breakfast table. It had some chips, scuffs and white marks on it. I painted it down in our storage area since the garage was too cold. It turned out great and now I just need to get Andrew to bring it back upstairs for me. I always like getting stuff like that marked off my to-do list. Next up I want to "purge" our house but that may take some time while tending to the twins needs.
