Ellie had an exciting day on Thursday because she got to go the pumpkin patch with her class. They went in the afternoon, so after lunch Andrew took her back to school and she got to ride on the bus out to the pumpkin patch. I wasn't able to get find someone to watch Lincoln so I couldn't join her, but I think she had a lot of fun. I did have an extra friend while she was gone though. I watched Luke while Kristin helped move her grandma into the nursing home. He is such a good boy and enjoyed looking out the windows beside the front door and exploring the house. He decided he had enough exploring though about the time I was trying to make some banana muffins and talk to Heidi who had called. So it got kind of busy trying to hold him, finish the muffins and talk on the phone while sounding like I was in the middle of working out since I get out of breath so easily :-).
On Friday we went to the Wilson's for Camden's 4th birthday party. They grew some pumpkins in their garden and ended up with around 24! So after we ate and the kids ran around and played some Bey Blades, they got to pick out a pumpkin (they already had them cut off and cleaned but set them back in the garden with a cute sign that said "Camden's Pumpkin Patch") and decorate it with some stickers. It was a great night with great company. And it ended with a fun Cardinal's win!
Saturday brought our last soccer games for the fall soccer season. It was actually our first chilly game, so we that means we had a good season. The kids took a little bit to warm up to playing in the colder weather. Jackson spent some time like this "watching" Ellie play. Her game was at 9, so it was only in the 40s and there was a chilly wind.
Lincoln still wanted to wear his hat.
I guess she should have brought Ellie some gloves so she could take her hands out of her pockets.
We headed home for around 45 minutes, warmed up and grabbed another cup of hot chocolate and then it was time for Jackson's game. Thankfully it was a little warmer.
That afternoon Jackson decided he would teach Ellie how to Bey Blade. He wanted to teach Lincoln but I told him he probably wouldn't be able to do it yet. So I suggested he teach Ellie and he thought she wouldn't be able to do it because she was a girl. Thankfully he changed his mind.
And Lincoln has really started to get into trains. He likes to go downstairs and play with all of Jackson's old stuff and will sometimes bring them up. He is just learning how to set up the tracks. I think I need to find an old Thomas video and see if he likes it. 
I was able to get more things marked off my to-do list this week. I am almost done Christmas shopping. I was also able to put together Lincoln's bike and Ellie's dollhouse for Christmas. They are hiding under some sheets in a back corner of the basement. And I am almost done with stuff for Ellie's birthday. I want to make a couple table runners today and then it can all be put away for her party next month. This week I hope to start wrapping and start making some freezer meals. I told Andrew that our life as we know it is soon coming to an end because our next two/three weekends are pretty full and then he has to head to California for a trial for the next 2 1/2 weeks and then another 1/2 week after Thanksgiving. Thankfully he gets to come home for the weekends. But after he gets back from that it will really be time to be totally prepared for the babies. I think that is why I am trying hard now to get things done.Oh and I just saw the official announcement on Facebook, so I guess I can go ahead and put it on here too-Annie and Brad are expecting another baby in May! We are so excited for them. We have known for a few weeks but they weren't telling everyone yet. She has been feeling worse than with her other two pregnancies so I was joking with her about it being twins. She had an ultrasound the same day I had mine and they sent out a picture of their new little one-yes just one. Everything looks good!
